The Importance of Voting on These Resolutions
Dear members of the Costa Bajamar Tourist Complex Users Association, Our community is at a pivotal moment to strengthen transparency, equity, and security within the Association.
The resolutions presented are not mere administrative changes, but essential steps to ensure that our decisions are fair, protected, and truly represent the interests of all members.
Voting in favor of these resolutions means:
✅ Protecting internal democracy, ensuring that important decisions are backed by the majority of members and not just a small group.
✅ Guaranteeing transparent and reliable electoral processes through an Electoral Transparency Committee that ensures the legitimacy of each vote.
✅ Strengthening the integrity of the Association, ensuring that relevant information is protected but also accessible when the community’s well-being is at stake.

RESOLUTION LIST THAT YOU SHOULD VOTE IN FAVOR
RESOLUTION 1
Reform of Article 11
The paragraph establishing the call for the General Assembly is modified.
Before: A 5% quorum of members was required to call an extraordinary meeting.
Now: 50% +1 of the members is required to ensure greater representation.
Motivations:
- Protection of the electoral outcome.
- Strengthening internal democracy.
- Preventing authoritarianism and personal agendas.
RESOLUTION 2 (Option B only)
Reform of Article 13 – Creation of the Electoral Transparency Committee made up of:
Registrar (appointed by the Board of Directors).
Assistant (appointed by the Board of Directors).
Secretary and/or alternate.
Treasurer and/or alternate.
Objective: Ensure transparency in the electoral process.A public report will be generated with the number of votes received and cross-checked.
RESOLUTION 3
Reform of Article 27
It modifies the restriction on access to personal information:
Members’ information will remain confidential, except when required in a legal process for the benefit of the Association.
Motivations:
- Protection of the Association’s interests.
- Transparency in legal processes.
- Preventing obstruction of justice.
- Prevention of conflicts of interest and nepotism.
