Knowing Your Rights as a Member

It is essential for each member to know their rights, as by casting their vote, they are not only participating in the election of the Board of Directors, but also ensuring that their rights are protected. An informed vote strengthens our community and ensures that those elected will work to defend and protect the interests of all. Your vote has the power to guarantee that the rights of all members are respected and protected. Together, we decide the future!

1. Right to Vote: All members have the right to participate in elections and votes that affect the association’s direction and decisions.

2. Right to Participate in General Meetings: Members can attend, speak, and contribute to the discussions in general meetings.

3. Right to Be Informed: Members are entitled to be informed about the association’s activities, decisions, and financial status.

5. Right to Stand for Election: Members have the right to be candidates for positions on the board or as alternate directors.

4. Right to Propose Items: Members have the right to submit proposals or requests to be considered by the board or in general meetings.

6. Right to Protection of Rights: Members have the right to have their rights defended and upheld by the association, including legal actions when necessary.

7. Right to Equality and Non-Discrimination: Every member is entitled to equal treatment, free from discrimination based on nationality, age, gender, or other personal factors.

8. Right to Privacy: Members’ personal and contact information is protected and may only be shared as required by law or association procedures.
